This Business Sparring Session is incredibly useful when you want to:
- make an important business decision and think through what it actually costs, changes and creates
- understand why something is not working
- sharpen or come up with an idea, proposition or pivot
- compare several possible routes and decide what makes sense
- work through a strategic, structural or growth question
- turn scattered thoughts or information into an actual plan
- prepare properly for a next step, conversation or opportunity
Whether you are running an established business, scaling or still in the building phase, this session is for you as a founder or business owner. This session can be strategic, commercial, operational or creative, or all of those things at once.

Bring me the problem, idea, process, numbers, offer, decision or slightly chaotic situation as it currently exists. Within this session, we actually work on your input together.
Depending on what you bring, we might pull something apart to understand what is really happening, think it through together, calculate whether an idea makes commercial sense, compare different routes, restructure something, develop a concept, make a decision or start building a better version while we are in the room. I will ask questions, of course. But I will also give you my perspective, challenge assumptions, make suggestions and tell you what I see, including when I think something does or does not make sense.
You get my ability to take in a lot of information quickly, connect parts of the business that are often looked at separately and get to the question underneath the question. I bring more than eight years of experience building, running, restructuring, marketing and creating businesses, together with strategic thinking, commercial judgement and pattern recognition.
You also get someone firmly in your corner. Think of me as your cheerleader, who wants to see you get to where you want to go.
There is no standard framework I run every session through. I use the thinking, tools and structure that fit what is actually in front of us. This is part sparring, part problem-solving and part how do we actually make this work? The common denominator is that we use the time to get somewhere. So by the end of our time together, we have solved something, made a decision, worked through the numbers, redesigned the way something works, developed an idea, found the actual reason something keeps going wrong or built the first version of something the business needed.
A surprising amount can happen in 60 or 90 minutes when we are actually working on the thing rather than only talking about it.
Before your session starts
Once your session is booked, I will send you a short email with a few questions about the business and what you would like to put on the table. Share whatever helps me understand the situation before we meet. That might be numbers, offers, plans, documents, links, screenshots, processes, questions, half-finished ideas or the slightly chaotic explanation of what is happening. Nothing needs to be polished. If what you bring needs more space or material, I can set up a private space for us to use.
I go through everything before we meet, so our time together goes to the work and not to getting me up to speed.
60 or 90 minutes?
Choose 60 minutes when you have one reasonably defined question, issue or decision. Choose 90 minutes when there are more moving parts, when you want to work through material together in more detail or when the question needs more room.
